I'm not one to pile on or anything like that, and I certainly don't take any pleasure in other people's screw-ups...but...I have to admit that I did smile a bit when I saw that he was kicked off UNC's football team today for accepting $5k worth of improper benefits from an agent, and for being involved in academic fraud.
If I remember correctly, he didn't even bother to call Charlie or the other coaches to let them know that he intended to sign with North Carolina on National Signing Day a few years ago. The coaches were left awaiting his fax, when it had already been sent to UNC. If that didn't scream of immaturity, I don't know what does. Apparently, he didn't grow up much in the three years he spent at Chapel Hill.
...too bad, Greg.
