Barring any major injuries, this game solidifies Bama's spot in the national title game in my mind. Not allowing a touchdown to Florida is ridiculous. The only serious test I see on their schedule is @ LSU.
In my alternative reality both teams would have lost. As it is, Florida and Urban should lose a bit of caché. What is needed now is for Alabama to get knocked on its butt by some underdog opponent.
Auburn has to go to Tuscaloosa, LSU at least gets to play them in Death Valley. I agree Auburn is the better team though. I still think home field advantage goes a long way in the SEC. That's part of my reasoning. But I hear ya.
Florida just got hit by reality, they will not even be close to the same without Tebow, I expect them to take a nose-dive. Of course they will get great recruiting classes, but I think there time is up, Burton is not even close to Tebow.
Not to be contrary, (or maybe so...) but I did post a while ago that my coach of choice was Saban. I was quickly shot down and the reasons were explained to me by many an educated fan. Oh well... I'll take a Faust or Holtz or Kelly any day.
Then gripe and bitch when we jump offsides or drop a pass.
