So neutral site, we are dogs to James Madison??? LMAO. Irish fans need some levity. James Madison Football > Notre Dame Football

Lets recognize and not get so upset after a loss. One day, we'll be as good as the Delawares of the world.

Yeah - I don't know where all the press came about us having a cupcake schedule. By the numbers, we've played the third hardest schedule so far - and with Stanford lining up next week it'll probably be the hardest yet. And notably the Massey's don't take into account margin of victory. Given all that, I have no problem being 1-2 as long as we keep improving our mistakes (i.e., the case of fumbilitis that the team has contracted) and play solid football. The wins will come soon enough.

If anyone thinks playing and beating ND doesnt matter, then they need to look at the last two losses ND has had to UM and MSU, both wins propelling then teams into the top 25...

I must have not been listening but I never heard a single commentator say anything but that we had a monstrous front-loaded schedule. Every rational commentary has been that it would be very tough to expect a romping success [record-wise] this season, given the rigor of facing the first six teams and no cupcakes inserted for getting a breather, and smoothing out the rough spots.

As a ND fan and OSU hater, I found this Massey poll very interesting. ND has currently the 3rd toughest schedule. If things play out as we suspect, we will likely have a Top 10 toughest schedule by year end.

Then I look at the OSU ranking, what a freakin' joke. They are rated at 132. Does anyone wonder how they are getting to the BCS every year?? Their full year schedule is currently ranked at 68th. One of my friends who is on the Athletic Alumni board stated that they were making an effort severel years ago to schedule themselves into the BCS mix more often. Well, they have done a nice job! Playing several MAC cupcakes every year is making it much easier. Plus, their are really only about 4 legit programs in the Big Ten every year. This means that OSU can sprinkle in Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota and many times Northestern to fatten up the win column. I have no respect for Tressel and his pathetic schedule.
