USC really isn't that good

I agree.

Minnesota is one of the worst teams in the Big Ten this year. The fact that USC is even remotely close to being behind in this game is a testament to how poor they are this season. They have a lot of speed and explosiveness at the skill positions, but damn...their defense is poop.

yeah, but i'll credit Minnesota this: they've played a penalty free 1st half. USC is just too undisciplined right now to have a lot of success. we'll see if they turn it around next half.

I wont say much on this one except that I agree that USC does not look great in any aspect for as much talent as they have. I hate that coach of theirs! Nice what he did to Tennessee. Watching the TN-FLA game here and hoping TN can pull off a miracle here. Halftime 7-3 (FLA)

USC is still on a honeymoon for 2 more weeks. And let's be real...these first 3 games have been an absolute honeymoon for what is quite easily an average football team. Hawaii rolled up HUGE chunks of yardage against them, Virginia (3-9 last year) stopped their offense cold, and a BAD Minnesota team who lost to a 1AA school last week had a lead on them in the 3rd friggin' quarter. Then they get Wazzou next week (vacation game) and an overrated UW team that is now 1-2.

However, then they play Stanford, Cal, Oregon, ASU, AZ, Oregon State, ND and UCLA to finish out the year. They are going to be BURNT out with all their scholly limitations by the time they get to the 2nd half of the ND game, trust me. Their D-line cannot handle no-huddle, fast paced teams, and OU, OSU and ND will go go go on their asses all game long.

I've watched all 3 games saying to myself that USC sucks. Obviously I'm exaggerating (they are still very talented), but they simply aren't a good football team. Now, you'll hear myopic SC fans talking about how they are 3-0 and that's all that matters and that they dominated Minnesota in the 2nd hald when it mattered, but the ones with a brain can see that there are some serious issues with this team.

Oh, and lay off Lane Kiffin on those 2 pt conversations. It's obvious he is going for a record for most 2 pt conversations in a season. Because no one, and I mean no one, is THAT stupid to try it in the situations that he has...

Isn't it amazing how much of a difference a coach makes? I mean I hear people slobber all over the SEC and their great athletes that nobody supposedly can compete with. But take Saban and Urban out of that conference and how average would it become in a couple years? Looks like SC is headed toward mediocrity after all the claims that ND would never compete with them.
