New Nike 2010 Pro Combat Uniforms

Uni Watch: Here's the latest college football news, hot off the Nike uniform press - ESPN

Here are the alternate uniforms for this year. They were unveiled this morning.

I like: Boise St., Pitt and West VA.

I hate: Miami, VA Tech, Ohio St.

Florida's is interesting with the gator hide.

Boise state's helmets are so sick, I also like the bronco on the pants and the jersey, bama's unis suck they are not really much different. I think the Florida gator skin is cool, the helmets are nice to. miami's are ok, and not a huge fan of ohio st's unis. I like TCU's and Pitt's are not that bad. I really like Virginia Tech's, it's so cool. Don't know why team's like TCU boise and oregon st., and also oregon st's. are the worst.

Virginia Tech's unis look like something from "Rollerball" (the '75 version w/ James Caan, not whatever that was in '02).

I like what VT did with there uniforms to honor the schools current corps and cadets. I also liked Florida's and TCU's.

I like BSUs, PITT and Miami's combat uni. The VT uni number colors look like they are falling off at the top and bother me.

These futuristic jersey look dumb to me. They look like they're from a movie that couldn't secure the rights to actual franchises. So they just made up some ugly jerseys.

Love - Oregon State

Hate - Boise State, TCU


Sorta Like - Ohio State, Florida, PITT, BAMA

Sorta don't Like - Vtech, Miami, WV

Oregon State kept it simple but it looks gooood. Boise and TCU have too much stuff going on there.

I like VT's use of honoring those and all , but it's just kinda gross looking.

I'm in the crowd of actually liking most of the newer jerseys and all - but there is too much stuff going on in most of those jerseys.

By the way, what's up with the things with the sayings on the right of the boxes? What am I missing?

Some of the helmets are cool. Boise State and Florida have nice helmets. I don't like the uniforms at all. Part of me doesn't like it because I think this just opens it up for the athletes to be even more like a walking billboard than they already are. Nike is going to make a ton of money on these items and the players get squat.

Keep them traditional. It's bad enough the shoe companies get to have their logos so prominent on the jerseys as it is - I don' think it is right to have a team get "branded" by the corporation.

You know how Alabama has the A on the palms of their gloves. And Flordia has the Gator when you put both hands together....How sweet would a pair of ND Gloves with the Golden Dome on the palms!!!!!!!! OMG THAT WOULD BE REDICULOUS!!! IM CALLING ADDIDAS AND SUGGESTING IT! NO DEMANDING IT!
