No differently than a man who loves football. If you love the game it shouldn't matter what gender you are.

Oprah's gonna have you on the show.

Acutally the White House might be calling first to see what slick words you have for the rise in unemployment. (... besides, it's the other guys fault)

My wife liked football when we met... but she would say things like... "Oh that guy with the ball went went fast" and "oh, number seven is a good player" after he just entered the game for the first time all year...

just stuff like that... and THAT is a real turn off to me...

Now she knows when there is a hold before the flag flies and knows all the different formations and what there strengths and such are... and just SOUNDS so much more schooled in the game... put her in a football J on the couch with all that being said...

SEXY.

I had an old girlfriend that was really into watching and going to Browns games--that was great, yet there is nothing like a woman who understands the game. I remember sitting next to a woman at a holiday party when the Browns were playing the Oilers. Due to injury, Tim Manoa was starting at running back in a one back set. The OC kept calling draws which were going nowhere. She looked at me and said "Why in the world are they running draws with Manoa--he's too slow to get to the line of scrimmage and the defensive ends simply change direction when they see the hand-off!" I was in love...but only for a moment as she was an OSU fan. Hey, I have to draw the line somewhere!

My fiance is a lunatic about Steelers football, I think it's awesome. Although her family is a big Irish one they all come from the Pennsylvania area and have been PITT and Penn State fans. We're expecting our first child in Dec. and I had to make a deal that our daughter would not wear any Tampa Bay Bucs gear (my NFL team) only Steelers stuff and she would never wear any other college gear other than Notre Dame!

Gotta admit it is a turn on when a lady can sit through an entire game and root for her's and your team. It is also a turn on when your lady can come charging towards you (inside the apartment when you have decided to watch the game with no guests...) and you have given up on your team on a tv watch, and I pretend to be asleep (in order to avoid kicking the crap out of puppies) while still peeking at every single play, , and she rushes towards me screaming my ND team just scored a lot of points on that thingy thing play and that punter guy kicked a touchdown thingy and WAHOOO ND won!, and "See! I told you we would win!" "Wahooooooooo!"

Whhhhoooooooo...deep breath....

That can lead to some sexy stuff.

Nothing more that I love than when my wife sits down with me and roots the Irish on!

She is not the most knowledgeable but she does get into it.

I got one of these too. I had to "covert" her into an Irish fan (at one time she dated a Purdue player), but I am proud she has a basic understanding of the game and has her loyalties straight. I am still disappointed in her parents for allowing a good catholic girl to have any love for the Boilermakers in the first place.

Fortunately my wife knows enough about the game to enjoy the sport. Last season was the first time I just couldn't stand to watch ND after the start of the second half . She did a great job of keeping me updated.
I plan on spending this whole season watching the games with her. No more hiding my head in the sand. I expect alot more good to cheer about.
