He's still got a series or two to go, as they're saying he's going to play in the 3rd also.

I noticed already that the snap from center in the shotgun is waaaaayy too slow. It's gonna throw off all timing and put Jimmy in a bad position. Notice the snap next time they are in shotgun. The friggin ball almost arcs because it is so slow.

Much ado is being made about his foot injury. I was very vocal on game day threads last year seconds after the injury. I knew it was damn serious.

Jimmy did look good though. I'm with TDHeysus here, beaming at our ND son.

OMG, good lookin out on that. That is absolutely BRUTAL. It is fucking up Jimmys timing so much. Ridiculous.

like a pro, JC is adapting to that slow snap. The thing that jumps out at me the most about JC in this game has been his decision-making. His is making good decisions at the line of scrimmage, audibles(nice run check down for good gain), WR progression - just as he did at ND.

I'm pretty sure all four of his interceptions last year weren't on him either, Clausen is a very good decision maker.

Pick one against Purdue was partially his fault. Threw it up for grabs and Shaq couldn't come down with it.

Pick two versus Washington was Allen's fault. Went right through his hands.

Pick three was a forced throw into tight double coverage on a deep post. Clausen's fault.

Pick four was off Floyd's back. Not his fault.

So 1.5 picks.

How do I remember this? I don't know.

At least the announcers pointed out the problem with the horrid shotgun snaps from the center.

That center is going to get Jimmy killed with that sucky ass toss.

It's my understanding that the backup center was working with Jimmy. I hope so, it was painful to watch so many bad snaps.

Although it was hilarious when the center held his ground one play while everyone else went. Not often you see the center bork the snap count so spectacularly.

I found it interesting that being his first time out, Jimmy looked much better than Troy Smith, a 3 year veteran for Baltimore.

Yet another stiff who won the Heisman for some unknown reason. I recall Smith had the lowest QB rating ever during Ohio State's epic FAIL against Florida.

I also enjoyed seeing Jimmy & Tyrell Sutton working well together.

Sutten, who won the "Mr. Football" award in Ohio, went to my HS Alma mater and wanted to attend Notre Dame, but Willingham was too worried about his golf handicap than recruiting & Tyrell went to Northwestern instead.

Another reason why I despise TW.

What do u guys think Jimmy was thinking when he was sitting across from Gruden? I kinda thought the whole thing was funny. This guy has had a qb coach since age 10. He knows to study, get with his line coach , etc.
