Awesome job keeping this updated guys, thanks and reps to the both of you(BGIF and Jason.).... im still a little surprised that we havent pulled a single WR verbal from this class yet. I know we got some depth at the position from Weis and his recruiting, but kellys offense is pass happy like crazy. We took 3 last cycle... i would still think we would be pulling in two for this one.

Nobody's seen it yet at ND. Build it and they will come.

If ND Admissions was fully satisfied there'd probably already be one on the list. I can wait for that.

Very much agreed. Once Daniels pleases ND Admissions you will see him jump on board. Why else would he be working like a mad man on jumping his test scores up? I do think Kasen Williams is a very tough pull away from Washington. However, WR is always a loaded position coming out of highschool. So if we can pull Daniels and display our high powered offense on the field..... then yes..... "they will come!"

The current class has used up all gaurenteed spots available for next year. Obviously some players might leave early or will not be granted 5th years so there is room for 2 or 3 more players

With that said the staff will likely focus on WR, DB, and elite players left on the board.

Players like Troy Niklas and Brennan Scarlett are out unless someone decommits.

jason, is that speculation or somewhat factual, just curious as i posed that question in another thread, just curious if we are going to only accept elite talent and offers out to lower ranked players will be basically revoked, thanks in advance man and i appreciate all the hard work.

Yep. If we win 10 games like Mark May said, I think Kasen is ours. DaVaris will be ours under the condition that he qualifies academically.

We should be set at LB now (Rabasa, Councell, Burton, and Grace). We will still go after DBs (Aldridge if we can't get Lyons). I may be in the minority, but I want to try French out at WR. His size and speed is such a mismatch, especially in the end zone.

IrishInFl I'm with you on French. Not only is he a big body, but he can really run to. Could you imagine as a db having a guy with that kind of size and athletism and trying to guard him. And if it doesn't work he can always move back to defense.

French would be a welcome addition to the 2011 class.

But I would want him primarily at WR.

We still need at least one more DB.
