Wow, he's fast but the competition in that video is laughable.

I haven't seen fundamentals that bad since I played High School football!

That said he looks good.

It seems like every year for the past 3 years we've had a Canadian player on our radar but never really went after him. Hopefully they don't turn around and beat us up.

Everthing we've read about the kid on here seemed positive. He may have been more of a project than we could have undertaken. His measurables were all great. If it's destiny to be golden, BK will send the message...

I feel like we missed one here. Good news is there is plenty of time to get him to flip if we do decide to offer him.

Don't think that is going to happen to be honest. Kid is huge on MSU and has been for a long time. They got in on him last fall, and he visited them for the CMU game. He has been dreaming of getting this MSU offer for over a year now and I really don't think he is going to change his mind. He is a life time MSU fan, and on top of that, they were in on him almost a full year ahead of the next school to talk to him, so I think this is a pretty solid commit

Good for him. He worked hard for the offer, got it, and committed to his dream school. Livin' the dream. I'll be watching for his name in a few years...

Hey guys I just joined mainly to talk about this kid and give some info. I went to high school with him and he is a great athlete. He is an All-Ontario type baseball player, played on my high school basketball team that got bronze in the provincial finals, was on the 4x400m relay provincial champions, ran 48.4 in the 400m, 11.05 in the 100m, and is considered among the best high school players in Canada. He plays at W.F. Herman, which is known as a perennial power in Canada. It is the same school that O.J. Atogwe of the St. Louis Rams went to, as well as a CB that plays for Duke right now named Chris Rwabukamba. There are a couple videos of him on youtube. I don't know if I can post the links on here or not, so I guess I won't unless someone tells me it is ok. He has a highlight film up and a bunch of track videos. If you notice in the highlight video, he even played some middle linebacker for us which is ridiculous for his size, but the kid is tough.

I don't think Windsor Football is necessarily a Spartan fan but went to high school with him and has been obviously following his recruiting for a lot longer then we have.

Quite easily deseminated per google is my stance...

Give me a recruit, and within three hours I can give you a relative spill. No offense, but I'm quite a skeptic nor do I see the reasons behind a classmate being anything more than a tragic fan. Especially considering the in depth posting.

I went to highschool and hung out with Cody Ross. Our kids play with each other as his parents live down the street. Feel me?

Really happy for him and think we missed out on another safety here. I want to see him succeed but not by burning us.

Wabash, please give up the "Eh" crap. I'd venture you say "like" alot more than I "eh"

But, I think eh is a geographic idiom, while like is a generational idiom. If one is over 35," like" is probably not part of ones speech pattern. I like the "eh". Using "like" makes one sound like an idiot. But then again, I generally like Canadians more than I like Californians (where the "like" thing started).

Windsor, thank you for the local background information you've supplied objectively since you joined our board a few 3 weeks ago. I know I scrounged for background on him and didn't find much.

When you first logged on http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/201...olquhoun-michigan-st-verbal-3.html#post374819 you noted quite clearly, "Hey guys I just joined mainly to talk about this kid and give some info. I went to high school with him .."

I don't know if you have any affliation for an American college football team, no one could tell from your posts as they were all about Arjen. Regardless, you're welcome back here.

I suspect you will be following his travels over the next few years. We wish him well - in 11 games each year. May he get to hold the Paul Bunyan Trophy high each year in victory over Michigan.

I agree about the direct corealation between "like" usage and age.

I know you may be addressing your concerns to my reply, but he's posted twice. I have no authority to run anyone off. I am not a mod. I can call out my opinion, just as Windsor did in his second of two posts, but I was feeling an inference in what I've read to have a Michigan State lean given his information.

My post was brash, but a lot of opinions are. You felt like I was calling out JPham in Heggarty's thread (http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/201...-nm-ot-matthew-hegarty-notre-dame-verbal.html) and you negative repped me after you posted a less than tactful response. I was only upset that someone posted “Arizona” on a New Mexico commits name. I didn't know who could have done so. Many people don’t even know we’re (NM) in the U.S.A.! Why didn't I need a warm and fuzzy "You're welcome here Johnny?"

Because I'm an addict to IE and I can fend for myself. Especially on opinions, like yours slanted opposite mine most often.

So to Windsor I said "Boo Sparty!", if the glove fits. Big deal. Neg rep me why don't ya? To Windsor should he be a ND fan, I say welcome brother, and I'll buy you a beer. To Windsor, should he be a fan of Arjen, then I say follow him to his new home which is MSU at the present time.

But I can tell you this: I was hoping Kelly and company would have offered him and I was slightly upset we didn't land him...

LOL I find it funny that people get their own little theories about why I joined the board. I just wanted to see what others thought of this kid, because it isn't too often that people from around here go to an FBS school. I am certainly not a Sparty fan, and I am not an ND fan either. If you must know, I am a Michigan fan, and I posted info on him on the Michigan board that I am on regularly to see if anyone had heard of him. I got absolutely no response, so I went to ND and MSU boards to see what you all thought.

PS. I really hope he never gets to hold the Paul Bunyan Trophy BGIF lol

And now, I got mad props to the man, AKA Windsor Football... (+1)

I really did hope for Arjen; his work ethic is the prototype for motivating all of the other players around him. And though I do hope he, if he remains a Spartan, does beat down UM, I fear what his work ethic could translate to come time for ND vs. MSU.
