I can see him going in the mid to late second round. I think he is going to be a great pick up for some team. Kid is a worker and a very intelligent player. He is a little like Mark Madsen with more size and strength. I don't know if he will develop in to a big contributor, but I think he has a good chance to have a solid career.

Idk. The guy is only big and wide. He can't jump at all. His shots will get stuffed in the NBA. Def won't be a star.

I'm not sure. He has great feet and quick hands and he's improved his range every year, but he's super slow and has always had trouble with 7 footers. I think the Mark Madsen comparisons are good. Madsen played better D, but Luke has a much better offensive game. I think a team needing a high energy big guy who can score would take a chance on him near the middle to end of the 2nd round.

I could see him possibly becoming a Rambis type player. Rambis coming out of Santa Clara did not set things on fire with his offensive game and he was not the biggest, or the fastest, but he made up for his shortcomings with heart and consistent play. Luke doesn't need to worry about being a scorer - that isn't what teams will draft him for. He needs to hit the boards and play defense and not be a liability when he is in the game. Those are areas where I think he will excel.
Another player he reminds me of a lot is a guy I played against in high school - Adam Keefe. Adam was a big body. Never had much of a range, but was a very intelligent player and had a decent NBA career for a number of years.

If John Brockman can get drafted Luke should. John and Luke are close to the same type of player, but Luke can score. They both are bulky, can rebound great, play good solid D, but Luke is a scorer and Brockman really isn't an offensive player. Luke can shoot and pass better than Brock. And Brock got drafted out of Washington into the second round to the Kings.

Great situation for him. Obviously an elite team to go to, great fan base, and he will be an instant fan favorite. He is pretty much the same player as Big Baby Davis. With Wallace retiring, Garnett's knee getting worse every year, Davis' contract expiring at the end of the year, and Perkins unable to play more than 25-30 mins a game due to foul trouble/being an idiot, I would be shocked if Gody is not a solid bench player for the Celtics by the end of his second year in the league.
