USC's schedule is set extremely favorable, you are right ND in LA. That's the main reason I think they will be really good. They are a lock to start 4-0 or 5-0 and I really don't see anyone in the Pac-10 that can play with them.
I know Kiffin is their coach, but as much as I want him to be a bad coach or think he is....they are going to win at least 10 games in 2010. They play 13, so it could be 11 wins or more too.
irish4ever, we can't afford to have UM and USC suck. If they do, and we go undefeated, we're no better than Boise State and we'll never play for a title.
As much as we want to see USC and UM bite the dust, it's really not in our interests, especially at this time and place with super-conferences about to be formed.
If we want to stay independent, we'll need these schools to be good. It will be hard enough negotiating more Oklahoma and Miami-type series down the road...we can't afford to see our two biggest rivals in the dumps.
Tough pill to swallow, but so it goes.
