Rivals and Scout list him at 260.

ESPN lists him at 292.

Quite a discrepancy. Where did the original info come from?

Could be from a questionnaire, a HS roster, measured at a camp or combine, etc.

Which ones right?

The might all be right. Rivals and Scout might be using numbers from last summer's camps or last fall's roster while ESPN might have last week's number.

In the class ND signed this week, Tate Nichols was listed by some services as 238 (maybe his senior playing weight). Then an article reported he was up to 260 through working out with a trainer and nutrionist. Brian Kelly reported him as 292 on Wednesday based on an ND scale.

Big boy with 1 more year to grow. I'm assuming with the Duke and ND offer he is a pretty good student? Nevermind, 4.0, just looked it up.

Also attending a Catholic school can't hurt.

I think I wanna nickname him, "Bad Bad Leroy Brown."

Last time we recruited a prospect from this hs, he went to Florida. I still miss you Jelani Jenkins! In all seriousness though, finding dt's for college has to be one of the hardest if not the hardest position to project. I will take every talented DT we can find, and this kid certainly looks like the type we could use.

Croce holds 10 offers on a regional basis primarily ACC, Big East, Big 10 and ND. Iowa is the school furthest west and UNC, NCS, Duke the schools furthest South.

He's been to Jr Days at UM and RU and will be at ND's next week.

DL Vincent Croce and CB Blake Countess were removed from the ND Jr Day List. Both have been listed for some time with ND offers that were widely reported by the services including Jeff Baumhower of IrishEyes and Brian Smith of ISD.

Now both Croce and Countess have been removed from the Offered List at ISD and Blue and Gold and placed in their Prospect/Interested category. Rivals and Scout still list them with ND offers.

I've removed the (Offer) from their thread titles.

There were reports out there that he did have an offer, but they were untrue. Steve Wiltfong talked to his dad and his dad told him that he couldn't be at jr day and that there was no offer yet. According to Wiltfong though, he is still high on ND's list and an offer could still be coming...

Spring game a boost for Michigan | freep.com | Detroit Free Press

“I was really checking out the amount of young guys they had playing out there,” said Olney (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel defensive tackle Vincent Croce. “They are still kind of a young team, but even though they were young, they were doing really well out there.”
