This one is way better than the 1st one. They say it's really only a sequel in name. The first one was just stage to stage. This one is big open world. Thing just looks ridiculous. The cutscene they show with all of them pulling out their guns is awesome to me. Looks straight out of a movie.

Believe me, it is quite nice. Shooting and riding can be quite a pain, but very nice story so far.

i got it yesterday....its incredibly fun.
the controls take a while to get used to...but levelling up is fun and so is the story

If you still have Madden, you can trade that in. My brother traded in a ton of games yesterday and Gamestop gave him 17 bucks for Madden. That's what I'm going to do. I think I'll probably only have to pay 20 bucks tops for RDR.

got ird of madden after about two weeks.... great game... NFL is just too boring compared to CFB and the games tend to feel that way as well... I don't see myself getting Madden again any time soon... but I def. will begetting this at some point...

Don't get me wrong, I like the first game, but I see it entertaining me for like two to three days before long-term seperation...

The wonders that happen some times... My B Day was last weekend and I got some gift cards... I spent them on books and cds lke usual and today I found out there was a processing error in one of my orders and I know will not be charged for 26 dollars worth of one of my cards... maybe, just maybe Red Dead will happen sooner than later.

I love Gamestop. I turned in 8 games. Madden 10, Fifa 10, NCAA Basketball 10, NCAA Football 10, NHL 09, Madden 09, NCAA Football 09 and MLB 09 The Show.

It ended up being 100 bucks in store credit. So I got RDR tax free for 60 bucks, a 4 dollar, 12 month subscription to Game Informer Magazine and I have 36 bucks left over most likely for Madden in August.

I usually HATE gasmestop.... but I just got Red Dead for 19 bucks... seriously, traded in NCAA 10 and UP (my daughters and she never plays it anymore)... 19 bucks.

The game world has so much and quickly passed me by. The graphics on this one are incredible.

The online play is pretty sweet as friends of mine and I posse'd up and stole a stagecoach. We then took said stagecoach and drove all over the place committing numerous crimes. That was hilarious. However, the only complaint I have so far is there are aspects of the online world that aren't truly interactive. Like for example, they give you buildings in the online world like general stores and banks, but you can't rob them. What's up with that? Likewise, they give you saloon call girls but you can't hire them. I really wish you could custom tailor your character's look instead of just unlocking different characters to use. Since I am a stickler for true customization and details, I will give it an 8 out of 10. It's juuuust off the mark of best game ever made.

That's what me and my boys were doing last night. Got the stage coach where you could fit multiple people in the back and just chased other posses around and did them in.

I went into a free roam two nights ago and killed all three of the people who were fighting each other... I guess it pissed them off b/c they all teamed up on me after that... it was brutal.

Still cant get interested in this game. Usually only hold out for the big titles and NCAA, can't wait for Black Ops to come out. Although i was hesitant about Uncharted 2 and it was fantastic.

It's pretty entertaining... but I have heard many reviews say "This is NOT just GTA in the ole west..." ah... yes it is. It's not as bad on filth and such (which is good) but the format and the way it plays is bascially just GTA in the west...

but really I don't even play the game that much, I just find poker and balkjack tables and gamble for hours on end... it's pretty sad... I have not found a poker game on PS3 that is this fun... I love the ability to try and cheat too... it's pretty fun.
