At this point till we see how Diacco moves people around I'm guessing 1 or 2 LBs with another 1 or 2 as [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]OLB/DE.[/FONT]

With the numbers at this point expected to be around 20 if ND bulks up at one position another positions going to have to get trimmed down.

Inside linebacker Rob Hankins (Plano, Texas/Dallas Parish Episcopal) has more than a dozen offers and has made unofficial visits to California, Arizona and SMU. However, he was really impressed with his trip last weekend. "I just got back from Miami," said the 6-foot-1, 214-pounder. "I went down on [March 26] and stayed until [March 28]. I loved everything about the place. I couldn't find a thing I didn't like." The unofficial visit to Coral Gables has put the Hurricanes in the pole position.

Hankins also considered California, Boise State, Colorado, Miami-Florida, Texas A&M and UCLA. Among others, he was also sought by Notre Dame, SMU, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Rice, Texas Tech and Tulsa.

Two weeks ago he was putting together a short list and visits. Now he's a Wildcat. The world of recruiting.


Jarret Grace set the table when he committed to ND back in April. Hankins is ranked about 10 slot higher than Grace but Kelly and Company had been recruiting Grace while they were at UC. They were happy with the choice.
