I was 8 years old. My "next door neighbor" (I lived in the country so my neighbor lived a mile away) had a dad who played for ND. He got me hooked on the Irish, and football, for life.

I was 8 years old ...

Shyte, I AM old! I placed bets with a number of high school class mates (I went to HS in Orlando) who went to FSU. Five bucks or a beer. Hmmmm, maybe I should go to my 40th class reunion in May to collect.

It was a great game! It was the first time I went to watch a game with the local Alumni Club. A good time was had by all during the game and a few hours after. I made the wise choice to take a cab rather than drive to and from the Pub.

It is also my daughter's first birthday. She was so nice she waited til 11 minutes into St. Patty's Day to come out for me. I was thrilled, my wife, not so much. Have a great one!.
