Ohio State Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

Defensive end Chase Farris (Elyria, Ohio) has become the fifth pledge for Ohio State in just over 24 hours, ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com reports.

"I am pleased to announce the commitment of Chase Farris to the Ohio State University," Elyria Coach Steve Hamilton wrote in an e-mail.

Farris picked the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Buffalo and Toledo among others.

OSU's other Monday pledges were OC Brian Bobek, CB Derjuan Gambrell, OG Antonio Underwood, OG Chris Carter.
