Clearly the "Slow Burn" has been a good, good, good adjustment. The added interest in defense that has accompanied this change in offensive strategy may well be more important.

One hope I have is that Brey incorporates developing, using and relying on a bench, by design rather than necessity, in the future.

Agree, I felt bad even typing that, but if Pitt stays close and ND keeps missing the gimmes, then could get tight. ND seems to making clutch field goals at the right times though.
