Sort surprising to see Crist make it since ha has little actual playing experience and comng off a knee injury. The other (3) are not a surprise IMO.

I'm fine with Mike being right behind A.J. Green because that kid was sick last year. Julio Jones didn't really do much so maybe they think he is higher on the watch list because he should produce better results this year? I don't know but Jones has a wealth of talent and Green was insane last year. Those are two very good wide outs and it is fitting that Mike is right up there with them. I'm just worried about durability issues with him now. Hopefully this year he can have a full, healthy season. Great article.

Thank you for the link...

Per Joe Schad, here is a list of his top 100 players to watch in college football next year. 4 ND players made the top 100, with Floyd coming in highest at #12 (but the 3rd highest receiver???), and Manti and Crist also cracking the top 50. Rudolph also made the list...the only TE there.

I hope more than 4 Irish get national attention this coming
season...Tom:clover:

Floyd's numbers for the first 3 games of this past season were phenominal. If he didn't get hurt and continued putting up those numbers for the rest of the season he would be the top WR on this list. But because that didnt happen I'm fine with seeing him as the number 3 WR on this list.

If Floyd would've continued the pace he set in the first 2.5 games he would've been the top player at any position on this list.

He would've finished the year with 60 catches for 1584 yards for a 28 ypc average with 24 TD's to go along with it. He would also have a Heisman trophy sitting on his desk.

But yeah, that didn't happen. Maybe this year...

I would love to see that happen this year. Hopefully this new offensive package will allow Floyd to still get those big numbers. We will have to wait and see. I think he will continue to get passes and rack up yards but the 30-40-50 plus yard receptions will be fewer than they used to... Is it August yet?

What is the obsession with Julio Jones? He has never overly impressed me with his play. He doesnt use his body well in the redzone and he is not very fast. Was much more impressed with Maize (i think that is his name) in the SEC championship game.

I feel the same as you. But at least I got the FSU spring game to watch (I'm going to try to get one of the warchant cowgirls to wear my ND hat).

Remember, it only happens if there is a picture involved. And we will only believe it if you post it on here...

Jones is amazing the only reason he doesnt put up great numbers is that Alabama runs the ball and he is the only good reciever in the Auburn game he got them the game winning drive
