As a Butler fan, Brey's style of coaching is disgusting. Run down, chuck up a shot, go back and don't play defense. Brey needs to be fired.

I've said it for years NDOM, it pains me to watch Brey's teams play because they don't defend. Can't stand watching teams that have no pride in their defense. jacking up a ton of threes and playing no defense is not a way to win. And the fact that he somehow turned his best post player into a shooting guard (Gody) is beyond me. I wanted Brey gone years ago but I was told I was stupid, that he was 'doing the best he could with the talent ND gets'. (Kinda like me when I used to back up Weis LOL) Time for a change indeed...

Yep. I hate to throw Brey under the bus, but its time for a change for sure. Its disgusting to watch this team continue to lose to terrible teams and play zero defense.

Brey calling for an 8 A.M. practice this morning? Even though it worked last year, it seems a bit desperate. If the players dont realize that each game counts from here on out then they dont belong in the tournament.

"Brey says changing the routine helps create a sense of urgency. He did the same thing last season after the Irish lost seven straight. The Irish responded then with their best game of the season, a surprising 90-57 win over Louisville."

As a Notre Dame fan, I find Butler's style disgusting and impossible to watch. Slow, boring, like they are playing mud.

Me too. I like our chances in the next 4 and if we can split the last 4 we could be in pretty good shape. 6-2 is definitely possible if we play like we did last night.

Maybe you were thinking that the game was at South Florida. I don't know.

ND was a much different team against Cinci than they were against Nova and Rutgers. Maybe the extra workouts help. They need to get meaner.

I will now eat delicious crow. this horrible horrible losS officially ends their tourney chances in myopinion. i defended brey but this is garbage. i'm a uconn fan as i always state but Uconn is on the brink too. i haven't read anyone else's post because i'm on a pub crawl and i'm posting from my phone. well i hope it works out for both programs. in summary of this post- worst loss in years, road game or not

read back throught this entire thread, how many of us are eatikng crow?- i was killing brey after that rutgers loss, now i act like i always loved him haha. crow is delicious. i wish i knew how to quote multiple threads. oh well. you all get the point. also, that st. john's loss was also horrible. who woulda thought they'd be in this position without Gody.

barring a blow out loss up at marquette along with a one and done in the B.E. touney- they're are a definite lock.
