Holy crap, he looks like something out of a video game!

Without question one of the most talented athletes we've seen in years. Pryor, Adrian Peterson, Seantrel Henderson, and Sergio Kindle come very close to him.

He has to be our #1 recruiting priority considering our need for both a talented DE and for a talented power RB. Look at his highlight tape for him on defense where he just explodes off of the line into the backfield, its not like hes playing weak competition, Plant High School is a NFL factory and there are some very good football programs in Tampa.

WOW! this kid is a difference maker and undoubtedly will be the #1 RB next year. We need to get on him now and stay with him the entire year. It will tough getting him to leave Texas.

Hes not only the #1 RB but hes the #1 DE also, so to be fair Rivals will probably just list him as an Athlete.

Hes from Tampa, Florida. His dad played in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Bucs. Its not hard for him to leave Florida, just look at all of the top guys who have left Plant High School to go out of state in recent years.

While he may be listed as a DE guys in the 3-4. he's not a DE. He would be wasted as a DE in the 3-4.

Guys that can be RB's aren't also DE's in this system as there is at least a 50 lbs weight difference needed.

You can only add so much weight and keep the same athleticism, speed, quickness etc.

Why would you want to mess with a good thing the kid is super fit and he could add some healthy bulk if needed but the more you add the more of his explosiveness.

I would imagine his max weight if they have him on defense would be at 255-260. Though it's not a need to be that big and I think anywhere between 240-250 as a 3-4 OLB.

As a RB, I would say somewhere between 230-240.

Not to ND, but he has offers to USC, UF, FSU, Clemson, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, and UNC per Rivals. "High" interest in USC, UF, Miami...

Ok so he is supposedly one of the top recruits in 2011 and Weis didn't extend an offer before his ousting. Am I the only one that hears the alarm bells going off here? What I'm getting at is maybe we should wait until he has an offer from us before we label him our number 1 recruiting target, huh?

Since his picture is posted right after "ND recruiter:"... does that mean he is recruiting himself to ND?

If I knew the sarcasm font I would have used it...

Charlie didnt extend offers to kids in the following class until he wrapped up the current class. Doing so can negatively affect your recruiting.

Alarm bells going off? So you think Pete Carroll, Urban Meyer, Butch Davis and Mark Richt dont know what they're doing by offering him early on?

He should be our #1 recruiting target considering our need for speed on defense at LB. Brian Kelly proved me wrong, Kelly's personality and some visible improvement in our play on the field will make him an impact with him come this time next year.

Whether he should be the #1 target or not, it's not going in the title of his thread.

As guys like Leuders, Hurd, and Bernard taught us this year you haven't wrapped up a class until NSD. If you are waiting to offer the top guys until you know for sure you have the current class locked up you're already behind and playing catch up.And Charlie did offer kids before the current class was complete. Trey Pettis,an OT, was offered in Sept. when we still had James, Henderson and other OL guys in play.

Look I have no doubt the kid has skills and will probably be a stud. But there is obviously a reason he didn't get an offer. We don't exactly have the same standards as UF,USC,UGA, and UNC.

I am not even going to look at this thread until he is offered. Until then, he is just an amazing prospect whom I guess I would be OK with accepting an offer to ND.

2/23 Per Bill Hodge's On The Trail

Yeah, the Florida Scout reporter is close to him, and he recently said that he highly doubts Wilder will leave the state of FL, and that he likes running back but that he projects better on defense...

Man, did we even have a chance? Kid wants to stay close to home. Mabey if he pays a visit that could change.

I think he goes to UF or F$U. Not that big of a reach on my opinion though. Like you said NDinLA, he'll be in the state of FL.
