Alright it sounds like I'm with ya now, except I seem more optimistic while you're more pessimistic

I think what you see in my posts (pessimism) is the bad taste I have in my mouth concerning the state of ND football. I try not to let it out in my posts, but I am passionate about ND and it gets the best of me. I definitely use Weis/Kelly examples to show my frustration with the 'powers that be' at ND. But, I'm not a weis lover, or a Kelly hater as I have been accused of...I just think the state of ND football is in a free fall and the coaching carousel is a part of the equation.

I went thru the davie surge, the willingham surge, and weis surge. this time, im ready for the kelly surge, but I'm not buying-in till he wins a BCS game.

I am actually most intrigued by Kelly's comments on Collinsworth.

BK on Collinsworth: "Great hips, great acceleration, loves to play the game. Physically will be able to compete immediately."

Also Nichols has grown insanely in the last few months according to those comments. Wow.

free fall seems a little extreme....IMO

TDHeysus I'm impressed that you have been a fan for a whole 16 years, several schools haven't won a NC in 20 years. It's a cycle.

Some of us have been fans for 25 and have seen a NC, and it was down, like now, before Lou took over (not a free fall), albeit I'm sure the ND administration is taking notes about your displeasure *i kid*

Just don't know why you can't be a little more optimistic. Suum cuique
