They need-a fireman-put out the flames. A trama specialist- to stop the bleeding. And the best publicity man from politics they can find. They may be in some deep doo doo.

I doubt if they have a coach until the NCAA sanctions either come out or are dimissed, who would want the job not knowing what was coming, who would enroll there not knowing what was coming. You reap what you sew.

Hate to see Harbaugh at SC. I hate having him at Stanford, hopefully he goes to the NFL after this year. Some SC fans seem to think Jeff Fisher would be interested cuz he's an alum but that sounds like a pip dream to me

I would not like to see Harbaugh at SC. He is going to be a hot name for the NFL over the next couple of years. He will get a job, but he seems to fit the college game. Enthusiastic, relates to the kids, plays off of their emotion.

It is going to be interesting to see how quickly SC moves on this. You have to think they will get something in place by the end of the week, but who knows? There is a lot more to this story than what we know now. There has to be.

Why would Harbaugh want that job? He is HATED over there. HE RAN UP THE SCORE AGAINST THEM TWO MONTHS AGO! C'mon people!

Wins and $$$ have a way of curing a lot of problems.......I think the bigger issue becomes the uncertainty surrounding the investigations. Why would an established coach take the USC job without fully understanding the situation and likely impact........sure they can tell you till their blue in the face that there is nothing to worry about....but how many big time coaches will take that gamble?

Can't wait to watch this unfold.......

FootballCoachScoop sources tell us Athletic Director Mike Garrett is now moving his focus to Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Jack Del Rio and Stanford Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. Garrett has moved on after Oregon State Head Coach Mike Riley agreed to an extension with the Beavers

Jack Del Rio seems like a possibility.. And as a Colts fan I'd love to see an AFC South coach leave, because it'll mostly likely leave a team in turmoil.

I would prefer to see Jeff Fisher leave... He's one good coach and the Titans scare me.

Plus I don't see Del Rio being overly successfully at USC.. and I like that lol.

Harbaugh is hated everywhere because he likes to stick it to teams. They will love him if he tries to go for 2 against us.

He's also hated because he's a huge douche.

I don't care who the new coach is, as long as he derails the Trojan program and sends them spiralling to the obscurity they faced in the 80's and 90's.

leslie fraiser (sorry if i spelt that wrong) from the vikings just think about it a young nfl coach that will bring energy, something like lane kiffin with out the ncaa sanctions

I only heard the tail end of it, but on his radio show a couple of hours ago, Petros (former SC player with good sources) said his sources tell him that Jack Del Steroid won;t go because of something about 15 million dollars that he'll be owed and that SC won't want to pay that off. Something to that effect. I just know that Petros said he doesn't think Del Steroid will be the next HC...

Del Rio is owed $15Mill for the next 3 years. If he leaves he gets $0, if he gets fired they have to buy him out. So I guess it will be a matter of who blinks first.
