* Just got his offer from ND, per both Scout and Rivals.

* I was waiting for this offer. The kid is a stud who USC has been after for quite some time.

* Track star, not looking to make any comments or decisions right now until track season is over (according to his dad).

* I know the girls' basketball coaches at Serra H.S., and they tell me that Pete Carroll has been to that school tons of times to recruit Robert and a couple other studs at his school. Pete's trying to make Serra a USC pipeline, so Robert will be a tough get, but he says that he's open to all schools...

Robert Woods? who would ever recruit a guy with that name.....oh wait a minute...thats my name! ...i'm just older, slower, shorter, fatter, and not as much talent...other than that, we're identical!

I can confirm what NDinLA is saying, USC has been after this guy for awhile. of course all my USC friends like to send me every article concerning this guy..

This kid is definitely the top receiver in Cali and a national recruit. I am not sure what type of shot we have at this kid, but he would be a welcomed tradition. Serra, another California Catholic school that should be a pipeline for Notre Dame!

Solid to USC....Per ESPN...

"It's pretty shocking, pretty much out of nowhere. Whatever Pete [Carroll] does is a great decision for him. It doesn't change much for me," said Woods, who is No. 23 in the ESPNU 150. "USC is the school I chose and I think I'm going to stick with it. "
