How do I upload a different avatar than those given?

You need to save an image to your cpu....load it up through User cp....and voila...new AV.

*Disclaimer* I've tried to change my av about 4 times and it won't let me so if you find something out that I don't know, that would be terrific...

LOL I'm still here trying to figure it out. When in User CP, where on the page does it give you the option of uploading an avatar? Because when I click on the edit avatar page, I can't find anywhere on the page where it gives me the option of uploading a new pic.

In User Control Panel you should see this dialog below.

Click on "Use Custom Avatar" and then use either Option 1 or Option 2 as appropriate.
