I am also not a big fan of miami being number 9 but thats my biased opinio cause i hate them

Alabama will definitely be the team to beat next year, considering what the amount of players they have returning - especially their dynamic running back duo. I hate Saban with a passion, but he is a damn good coach. Also, they will have less Florida to deal with (even if Urban does return...)

Alabama loses their entire D. Oregon brings back almost everybody.

This didn't take as long as I thought it would. After the top 10 it went quicker.

GT will probably lose Dwyer and Morgan, hurting them a lot. Alabama is losing their entire D. I just don't see any way that Oregon isn't #1.

even if they loose in the rose bowl ? just wondering............

Pac 10 wise i think USC will be back strong next year, there whole team will be back next year, there only weakness next year will be at the OL, (they mostly had seniors at OL this year 4 starters where Sr). But i look for them being #1 with Oregon being 2. But hey i could be wrong

id have to have stanford in the top 15. they return the entirety of an excellent offensive line, a sophomore qb who looks like the real deal, and several highly regarded running backs to run behind that line.

IF they can improve their D, they will be a team to be reckoned with, imho.

If you only have a week, its impossible to stop the option. If you have 3-4 weeks as Iowa did, its pretty easy. The schedule is easy enough to go 12-0 if they keep Dwyer. I'd still have them top 5, but I just didn't want Bama #1.

I can't legitimately put GT in a top10. Kill the dive and kill the triple option.

1. Boise St. I would put these guys against anyone, anywhere. They return everyone except 1 guy I think.
2. OhioSt.
3. USC
4. Oregon

I really can't go much farther than this. If BSU is not in your top5, you are a slacker. That is all.

So much mention of Oregon, I can't believe Masoli (their QB this year) didn't get more mention for the Heisman. Guy was good.

I'm still picking Oregon to win it all next year, and I'm picking Masoli to win the Heisman next year as well. They are going to be so prolific on offense. Ohio State won't be able to stop them next year.

Why not? Their defense will be that much better..

I just think that the Oregon offense is going to be completely unstoppable next year and the D will be very tough as well.

I see why you're the hoops mod and not a football mod, why don't you ask Missouri how easy it is to stop a triple option team with 3 weeks prep time... Iowa won because they have a VERY disciplined defense, which is what you need to stop a good option team. Also GT QB really didn't look that great, his throwing was nowhere near what it needed to be for them to be a top 5 team. And what about defense? Your telling me that a team can be in the top 5 and not able to stop a big slow Big10 team?*

I would say "you're" instead of "your." Punctuation camp didn't teach me chit.

One time, in band camp...
