Here's the thing about the FL job, and I said it to my in-laws right away when the breaking news came out (I'm in South Bend w/ family so I couldn't post): There is no way anyone with a big name is taking that job. No way in hell. Why? Because Meyer was going to stay on in a 'non-coaching' capacity. The doctors have said he is fine, just needs to settle down. As a human being, I truly hope is OK. But I am still skeptical of what's really going down. Call it the Tiger Woods Syndrome I guess.
Whatever it is, he handled it really poorly, going from leaving for good for health issues to just taking a leave of absence and maybe coming back in time for the first game. The way this guy operates (and he is as dirty as they come), don't be surprised to hear an announcement about his status the week after NSD...
