Does he have any interest in ND now that BK is our coach? Would we even offer another scholly to a wideout?

I would assume that if there is a highly ranked kid out of Indiana without an offer its because of grades.

As long as TJ stays on board im ok, we need safeies and Tackles

Lewis was a ND Junior Day visitor last 1/24. I don't recall seeing anything connecting him with ND since then. I've never seen any grade info on him.

Like his measurables, but no thanks. I say wait out the Prater or Cooper scenario. Concentrate heavily on defense.

He opened up his recruitment again, and has ND now in his top 5, along with OR, Cinci, Kentucky, and Purdue. Apparently the kid is VERY good, #108 in Rivals 250. But he doesn't have an offer to ND yet. A poster on another site who has seen him play says he's the best WR he's ever seen out of Indiana; fantastic body control and hands, but doesn't play hard all the time.

Prater ain't coming guys, so I'd definitely give this kid a look.

Dudes got the skills to pay the bills. I predict he becomes a star wherever he goes. Good speed, good size, nice prospect.

I coached against him this year. On film, the kid is damn good. Pike loves to run vertical, and Dyjuan was constantly behind the coverage. Conference Indiana is good... but we lost in double OT after our FG got blocked at the end of the first OT.

Anyway... kid has great hands, speed, and has a nasty streak in him when he wants to block. I LOVE seeing him reopen his recruitment. He would be a hell of an add. Kid just looks like a freaking monster in pads.

ISD saying they thought there was an academic issue that ruled him out, but they aren't sure.

When my kids played Pike... I was actually as impressed with Anthony McClung as I was Lewis. That was a hell of a 1-2 punch.

officially reopened his pledge to Cincy...per ESPN

Same stuff NDinL.A. posted yesterday.

From Hodge at insider.go.ESPN.com

Dyjuan Lewis, a highly-recruited wideout from Pike (Indianapolis, Ind.) has decommitted from the Bearcats. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Lewis is now considering Kentucky, Purdue, Oregon and the Bearcats for the Class of 2010. He also lists Notre Dame, but the Irish have not offered. Lewis also has offers from Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan State, Missouri, Oregon and South Carolina.

FWIW, ISD reporting they believe that they aren't certain he would be able to get in, otherwise they believe ND would offer.

Grades ARE an issue. Potential to be offered if things can be worked through academically.
