Hello guys it has been along time since i posted I am normally just a reader but I have a question. If all the rumors about meyer turn up to be true, can anyone ever think of a situation in which a coach has won a national championship and then left the next year for another program? Thanks for the help guys.

i was going to say nick saban... but yeah, he stayed for one more year.

steve spurrier waited 3 years to go to NFL

one wonders if LES Miles would've went to scUM Kirk didn't "leak" the news early.

I think it was almost as done deal. Michigan said he would be up for an interview, but not a full out contract. Miles was like "Yo, if I go talking to you my ass is hanging out in the wind.." Thats when LSU offered an extension and said SIGN IT or else.

Goin old school on you- Frank Leahy. Won a share of the national championship at Boston College in 1940 and left for ND in 1941. I wouldn't mind seeing Meyer follow the same plan.

Leahy lead BC to a undefeated season then left for ND but nobody recognizes BCs claim to an NC except BC. It's like most of the 24 titles Alabama claims.
