I love our fan site. Has anyone ever looked at the comments from the South Bend Tribune online concerning ND Football. It is comical and represents the old farts that sit on their hands at ND Stadium and tell you to sit down when you stand to cheer for the Irish. Have you ever watch on NBC, you can see the stadium just covered with these guys. Those guys actually think that Rockne, Holtz, or Ara are coming back to coach the Irish. I'm 46 and absolutly admire the devotion you all give to the Irish on Irish Envy. Keep it up, brighter days are ahead for ND Football.

This year under new configuration at Joyce - I'm sitting behind an elderly couple - even in exhibition games - did I get looks! Maura and Charlie were cool - except when I spilled my popcorn - tried to clean it and Maura sat on my hand.

You are right! I am getting younger every day! I was 103, then turned 75. I predict I will hit 22 by next month.

Hawaiian IRISH is 32 baby.....At the highschool i coach at a lot of kiddies are rocking Notre Dame gear. you still see a lot of #3 jerseys as well as a lot of #5 for Manti... Amazing these high school kids still remember the glory days of Irish football. Hopefully before they graduate high school the glory days of Irish football will return....

24 here.And have never been able to really,really relish in the good times of ND. I actually grew up in South Bend until I was about 9 and never got to go to a game. At that time everyone my age was into baseball and not much football,so it wasn't til I left that I realized the error of my ways. Still have to get back to SB to see my first game in person.

I love the insight and conversation of this site, where I come from there are like 10 whole people in my city who know anything about college ball what so ever. I tried other forums like ESPN and the like but they're pretty much just ramped idiocy.

Also, every time I watch a game I try to cheer, scream and curse so loud that they can hear me alllllll the way in south bend.

hopefully if I ever get things straightened away up here I'll be able to make it down there with you guys some day.

I'm 48, There have been 4 National Championships in My lifetime. I remember 3. ND over Alabama, ND over Texas, and ND over Texas A&M. It should have been 4, if not for a phantom holding call. I do not see going to any football game and not cheering after all it's not golf. If someone wants quiet let them stay home, and maybe someone who will raise the rooftop will take their seat.

agreed, I've tried some other sites....cbs, espn, and so on, but as stated before it's basically this: "your team sucks", "no YOUR team sucks" back and forth, with poor spelling and worse grammar.
