i dont think anyone is taking these projections seriously, just looking at the matchups and discussing what kind of games they would be.

let the team and coaches stay focused on navy, us fans can look ahead all we want, aint gonna make a bit of difference.

Penn State/Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl would be outstanding. We could renew our old independent rivalry like we have been trying to do the last few years. It is a long shot for that to happen, many pieces have to fall into place, but it would still be a great game.

My buddy and I were just talking about that today, that would be an awesome game. The Canes are fast though....real fast, especially their receivers. Not to mention we would have to be on the lookout for swinging helmets. lol

I'm with Irish4Ever and just want notre Dame to get healthy so they can play with a full hand. My wish is LSU in the Sugar Bowl with Notre Dame playing them with an equally talented team in their backyard, not like the overmatch of a few years ago. It would be a nice table setter for next year.

That said, ND has looked better and better every week. The defense is obviously maturing before our eyes. I can imagine how awesome they're going to look under Tenuta with an additional year of experience (most of the front 7 are So. and Fr.).

This team will be ready to compete for a national championship next season, whether Clausen returns or not.

there was an article yesterday, or a blurb i believe in the miami herald that said we were ducking miami, and we had agreed to play them previously but now their ad can't get a hold of swarbrick.
