I don't see the BCS matching us up against a team we already played. If we do get chosen, I think we get Cincy.
That would be even worse. Cuz Cincy has the coach who should be coaching here but oh well.
No they wouldn't go for that. Back in 2006, UM was undefeated going into OSU to play them, who was also going into the game undefeated. OSU won by 3 and a lot of people wanted them in the Championship game, but they didn't have it and both got beat handidly by USC and Florida respectively.
Ya, but its not like a bowl had the choice to put OSU and Michigan together. OSU was going to the NC and Michigan wasnt. I think if the Fiesta Bowl could get the ND-USC game, they would take it in a second. I don't know who has first choice this year or the order of at-large selections though.
Had UM been voted higher in the human polls then they would have gone to the NC against OSU.
Ok. The question was if the BCS would go for the ND-USC matchup. Or in other words, would a BCS bowl that could take two at-large's take both ND and USC. The human polls have no impact on whether or not ND and USC would play eachother in a BCS bowl this year.
The point I am trying to make is that I don't think they would ever put a rematch in a bowl.
One problem, we have to make the BCS first.
That would be even worse. Cuz Cincy has the coach who should be coaching here but oh well.
Didnt you say that Ball State's coach should be hired at ND last year? How is that working out, oh yea, they are 1-8.
To be fair that coach left to go to San Diego State. But yes, Brady Hoke would have been in way over his head, and so would Kelly if he was hired after this year...which obviously he wont be.
USC on a neutral field? Nope, that's not what I want to see.
ya usc probably has 3 of the 20 qbs who you said were better than clausen
Someone gave Meyer a chance at one time as well. Sorry bro, I think Kelly is going to make a top flight coach somewhere. If not next year then the year after.
