Well considering we are one the best teams in the nation, I think pretty good. The loss against the michigan, I mean ourselves and the refs, it wouldnt even of been close. I have no doubt we would beat Penn. ST. and would love for that Bowl game.

Better Coach!! I love that meltdown he had losing to Pitt when he was coaching WVU.. He's a 9 to 10 win coach. He couldn't get WVU to a national title game in a weaker conference. If you are one of the best teams in the nation, you don't struggle to win every single one of your games except for one, and you don't lose 2 of them. I mean, it's one thing to struggle a couple of games, but it's also nice to blow a team out.

I believe the needle is pointing up, I believe the offense is elite and will absolutely blow up once Floyd returns, and I believe we have the top QB in the nation. HOWEVER, the top teams in the nation don't make bad to mediocre QBs look like All Americans, and they don't let receivers run around wide open all game, especially on 4th and super-long.

Sorry dude, we are a top 20 team, but until we start to consistently defend, we are in now way shape or form one of the TOP teams in the country. And believe me, I LOVE THIS TEAM (but let's keep it real).

And CTF, jason makes a great point. Look at the ND boards...we won and people still want CW fired. We are no different than Michigan fans, if not worse, sadly.

(But it still is fun to watch them bitch and complain!!!)

We are not one of the best teams in the nation. With Floyd in the lineup, we are one of the best offenses in the nation. I have to agree with another poster. Shinskie was 1-12 for 4 yds against VaTech. That's what one of the best teams in the nation does to a rookie QB who hasn't played in 7 years!!! ND? Oh, we let him throw for close to 300 yds. We let a WR wide-ass open on 4th and 17 who had been killing us all day. We are Top 25 material. I don't think we're close to being a Top 10 team yet. This defense needs about 1-2 more years and a few more top tier DBs.

Not the best argument. ND beat MSU and Michigan lost to them so you can't say that just because Michigan did well/badly against one team that ND would do even worse. In 2006 and 2007 we beat teams that beat USC. Didn't make us better.
