Soon. Turn it on and watch.

-Lives for the end of the game situations. Does everything to help the team win.
-Dumbass fans chanting overrated at gameday. They don't understand who Jimmy is truely. He's changed over the past 3 years. Just trying to help the team win.
-Irish winning, but aren't ranked yet. They showed Charlie's press conference.
-USC knows ND's offense with Carrol and Charlie being in the NFL.
-USC similar to what washington did last week.
-We'll have to wait and see next week to find out if they're a ranked team.

Herbstreit calls Jimmy the frontrunner for the Heisman. Desmond says he's a candidate, not the front runner. He said 'It's not what you do, but who you do it against.'

I boycott it.. I turn it on and all they had was some ballwashing Tebow crap. For christ sake, it was a concussion! It's not like he was dying. I think Herzlich fighting for cancer was more heart felt than the attention Teboow is getting over a concussion.. By the way, I just love how Corso admitted there's a bias against ND in voting..

I thought he was going to be live on set but it was only a phone call.

I find it extremely funny when last week on college gameday the crowd was shouting "overated" about ND, and we still are not ranked. How stupid can these crowds get??

LSU should be the last to chant overrated about a QB. Have they seen Jamarcus?

I think you misunderstood the LSU fans. The were chanting "overrated" about their current ranking. The #4 team not have a top 100 offense, lol now that is funny.

So therefore Tim Tebow is the front runner, cause he has played all world teams.

This is the second time in a row that on Gameday ND was brought up, once booed when Penn was facing Iowa and now JC gets overrated chants. What the hell is going on here.
1. We're not ranked
2. Just coming off a below 50% and a right at 50% season.
3. ND is not dominating anyone
So why the hell do these morons keep showing us how jealous they are of a, like they said, overrated QB and crappy team. There are way to many dumb people in this world!!!!

He made the point that he had a great opener, in 1991, against Boston College, and no one was talking about him at all. Then, the next week, he had two touchdown catches against ND, and he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Given this experience, I can understand the comment he made. I may not completely agree with his logic, but I can understand his point of view.

This is what I am saying. BC was 4-7 in 1991. Not exactly elite competition.

ya ok there is a point but if jimmy is being put into those game winning drive situations, he still has to get it done, does he not, and he is getting it done.

Corso said if his name wasn't Jimmy Clausen and if he played for any other team with those game winning drives, he'd be the front runner right now. Which he proves that there is a bias media against ND.

I heard that too and its tough to argue with that. Because if tebow had game winning drives against southern coastal and troy then they would hand him the trophy

As long as we keep winning and Jimmy keeps playing, I don't give a crap about what other teams fans think.

Because people hate Notre Dame. When I lived in Arkansas I was talking to a guy who hated Notre Dame, and I said Notre Dame is College Football, end of conversation.....

On a side note:

How heartbreaking is it to see Corso like he is? He had a stroke in the offseason and has a lot of trouble getting words out.

Jimmy has to win the big game, plain and simple. If we beat USC, and Jimmy has a good day, a lot of people will be eating crow. If it does happen......I want to see what Gay-day-Mark-May has to say.

God I hope we beat those bastards!

Was it at that point where you put your fingers in your ears and started saying "LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

I was thinking the same thing, CTF. Corso does have trouble getting some words out. He also had to take notes on his talking points and then read from it. Sad to see. At least he's still on set.

Desmond

Desmond

I sat by and listeved to Desmond and Kirk speculate on Heisman candiates during College Football live earlier in the week and Kirk and a few others had JC at the top of there list (for now) and when Desmond rolled out his top 5 JC wasn't even in it. First of all Rocket was better than Desmond and I can't believe they have this Norm Crosby imitator still on the set. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard and he is an inarticulate homer/ND hater. As CW would say this year "Just show what you got on the filed". If we keep up the wins the rest will begrudgingly follow. I think our strength of schedule should be getting better press based on how our opponents are doing.

Any way you slice it JC will ascend to the top of the Heisman list on all cards if he pulls out all the stops and leads us to a victory over USC. Without that he will be out of the discussion. Those idiots at LSU would kill for a QB like JC right now. They will lose more games than ND this year. The only reason Jamarcus Russell was a top pick in the draft was because of the horrible ND defense in the bowl game. Without that game Brady Quinn is the #1 pick and Russell is a second rounder.

Our strength of schedule? Don't quite think its on our side bro. ND has played 1 team with a winning record this year, and lost to them. Incidentally that winning record is slowly sinking to the .500 level.

LSU plays in the toughest conference in the country, whether you believe that sentiment, its the truth. I don't think Clausen would fit in too well with that team. I don't see LSU losing too many more games, maybe 2 tops. And while it may end up that they do lose more games than ND, its because they lost to the #1 and #2 teams in the country. Are you really going to the Jamarcus Russell vs Brady Quinn arguement?

I was looking at who's left and where our past opponents might end up. IMO the SEC with the exception of Bama is living in the past. I actually think we could compete against everything they have this year. Maybe not win every game but compete. With the exception of WSt. every team on our schedule is capable of beating a variety of teams. LSU D very good but their offense could make our defense look like world beaters.

We have 7 games left...6 of those teams have winning records. And I can guarantee Clausen could actually sit in the pocket or atleast move around with some composure unlike Jefferson. Just look at the end of the 1st half. 2-minute drills are where Clausen excels and even the announcers last night were just waiting for Jefferson to throw a pick. When its all said and done, we will have played anywhere from 8-10 bowl teams (Nevada, Michigan, Michigan State, USC, Pitt, Stanford, Navy and Washington/BC/UCONN are all maybes)

LSU has played 1 team with a winning record, and lost to them. And scored 3 points. I know Florida is not the same as Michigan, but it was a home game for LSU and Tebow was less than 100%. LSU has two close wins, one aided by a call by the refs and another by a goal line stand. If anything LSU seems pretty comparable to ND right now.

Except For Bama and Florida there is no one in the SEC to be scared about. Matter of fact there is no other team in the country that i wouldnt like our chances against. Head to head i like our chances against the rest of the top 25
