Do we have any Whatifsports fans? Or does anyone game on the XBox 360's NCAA 2010 game?
I find so much realism associated with the game and attributes to players. From injury, to awareness, the game has strong similarities that can't be ignored. From observing these strangely familiar characteristics, I think EA sports must pay someone to go around and check out players from all of the teams or study massive quantities of film.
To tie it all together, Whatifsports uses computer simulation to create a winning percentage from 1001 games or something relative. They then use these to predict game outcomes and bowl projections towards the end of the season. I have been surprised how often, probably by chance more often than not, the simulation predicts outcomes better than experts.
The one flaw is, of course, the lack of different head coaching strategies. Also injuries aren't figured in.
Also if anyone ever wants to game it up online on XBox Live, send me a friend request: johnnykillz09
