Missouris Blaine Gabbert had a big night completing 25 of 40 for 441 yds 3 TDs and no INTs.

Nevada's leading rusher Vai Taua who ran for 114 yds against ND was injured and fumbled on the 4th play of the game returning a Missouri punt and did not play again in the game. Missouri scored 3 points off the turnover.

Trailing 12-7 just before halftime Nevada fumbled but recovered on Mizzou's 27 yd line with 23 seconds left. They drew a personal foul call after the play and time expired without a FG attempt as they had no time outs left.

Nevada opened the 2nd half with a 50 yd kickoff return and Kaepernick confounded the Tiger defense with a 11 yd run to take the lead early in the 3rd Q, 13-12.

It took Gabbert 2 plays to hit a 74 TD pass to retake the lead 18-13.

Early in the 4th Q on a 3 and 1 at Mizzou's 4 yard line, Nevada rushed for the yard but fumbled and Mizzou recovered at their own 3. Gabbert put together a couple of long passes and a Mizzou a 40 yd run doe 97 yd TD drive and a 14 point swing.

Kaepernick led a late 4th Q scoring drive to close out the scoring at 31-21.

Taua's backup, Luke Lippincott ran for 114 yds (same total as Taua had against ND). Kaepernick added 59 on the ground. He also hit 58% of his passes for 146 yds, 1 TD, no INTs.

Nevada rushed for 218 yds against Mizzou. They 153 against ND.

Nevada gave up 10 points to Mizzou on the turnovers and lost more points fumbling on 1st and goal at the Mizzou 3. Nevada drops to 0-3.

The Nevada fumble in the 4th quarter on the 3 yard line effectively ended the game. They were down by 8 and about to go for the tie, instead Gabbert takes Mizzou down the field for an impressive TD drive, full of 3rd down conversions, that took the heart out of Nevada. Gabbert was very impressive that 2nd half. Mizzou has a good one, and he's only a soph. A buddy of mine is from Missouri and he's a die hard Mizzou fan (being Catholic, ND has always been his 2nd favorite school), and when Gabbert committed to Mizzou it was a HUGE deal for them. Their receivers are pretty nice too...

Yup, I think Nevada is actually going to have a winning season from here on out. I know Gabbert was 25-40 passing but their pass defense in the first half actually looked pretty good and Missou is probably the 2nd or third best team they will play all year

I was really pulling for Nevada last night. Thought they were going to pull it off until that fumble on the 3.

I heard his name on a couple of kick offs but he downed both of the ones I saw. I was in and out of the room.

Nevada is not a good football team. They will lose at least 2 more games, and go 7-5 as I predicted earlier this season.

Nevada should have just beat the 21st ranked team in the nation, not exactly what i would call "not a good football team." They are legit for a non-BCS conference team.
