If Pryor had committed to Michigan, what would their record have been last year and would they be a ranked team right now? My guess is 8-5 last year and a ranked right around where ND is now.

Pryor is not that good. I think his legs might have gotten them a couple more games and his arm would have cost them a couple.

I think he is that good, but dumb as rocks. Those comments about Vick, were one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

I would say that they would have won a few more games for sure. Unfortunately Stupid quarterbacks can be great in NCAA football as long as they are athletic and can run fast. For the NFL that is a different story. i.e. Vince Young.

I grew up 20 miles from where he played in high school. Everyone said he did a great job at that level. Saw him in state championship game and agree with Charlie-come to Notre Dame and we will make you a 1st team all american receiver and no 1 draft choice. We're talking Vince Young here people on the pro level. He wouldnt project even close to Clausen who still has a long way to go towards being a pro. I'll take Clausen over anyone at the college level except for the 'big 3' this yr. At year end he may change that in the eyes of many people.

I would take Clausen over Tebow and Bradford. Clausen is a much better passer than both.

Where did you grow up? I grew up about 5 miles from his high school.

IMO, he isnt that great and wouldnt have made much of a difference for Michigan last year. He is a freak of an athlete, but he cant throw to save his life at this level. That is going to catch up to him one day.

He certainly would not have swung 5 games in UM's favor last year

There's actually a topic on Pryor on the Rivals message boards. It's basically turned into a "Jimmy Clausen is more overrated than Pryor" flame fest.

Wouldn't have made a difference.

They lost 4 games by 7 or less...At the very least they would have beat Toledo. I'm pretty sure RichRod couldve played QB instead of Sheridan/Threet and they wouldve beat Toledo. Wouldn't have suprised me if they wouldve won 2 of those other 3 games and gotten to a bowl game.

Mel Kiper said today if Clauen continues to improve the way he has, He'll be a 1st round draft pick........
