Chris Martin texted a writer for rivals and told him he will be taking visits to other schools, but he says he's still solid with ND. I guess he said he'd be visiting UNC and LSU on his facebook according to other posters on the 4HL. Tifwiw
oh no, here goes again. Maybe he's disappointed in the DL recruiting, I would be. Or maybe he heard about Omar Hunter's imminent transfer to ND.
I want to throw up right now if this is true. I figured the move to Jersey would have helped us too. Dammit this sucks!!!!

Is Omar coming with Urban? Et tu Trattou?
My sources say that Trattou is unwelcome. Urban may be ND coach down the line. And Omar Hunter to ND is a DONE DEAL. I'm pretty sure I saw him at Rally's today. And by my sources, I mean my ass.
Personally I'm still in shock that Omar Hunter still hasn't enrolled in classes at ND yet
Apparently some posters are saying that he's saying it's because of CW's job status. Who knows. I know that he loves CW.
is it possible that Weis-hate is effecting recruits???? If I was a top recruit, and I saw/read about a coach who own alumni was hating on him, I would have questions too. You cant blame him(Martin), its the smart move.
I am numb. Maybe it's actually apathy when it comes to recruiting news, but I just don't get worked up over stuff like this anymore. Kids commitments come and go in this day and age and a "verbal" or "soft" commitment or whatever terminology they use doesn't mean shite to me until they sign on the dotted line. I just don't put the hope in to these commitments the way I used to, so when a kid opens his commitment or looks elsewhere (a'la Omar) it just doesn't get to me anymore. Plus, the Manti Teo situation keeps me believing that until that LOI is signed, anything can happen.
So, Chris, my hat is off to you. Bon voyage! Go hit some other campuses, go to a few parties, bang some random co-eds, and if you decide ND is not for you, I wish you all the best. No matter where you choose to go, study hard and play hard, but you will NEVER, I repeat NEVER, find a place as special as ND. Unfortunately, from your perspective right now, you might not be able to see how special this place really is. Good luck to you, but I still hope you sign on ND's line come next February.
Can we please put the Omar Hunter joke away?
If we lose Martin our 2010 class will suck and we will not get any big names. From reading stories in the SB Tribune Martin was excided to come to ND. Unfortunately I don't see us getting any recruits until later this year based off how the team does.
