Dude, 2 weeks ago, the night before I flew to SB, I was leaving my car and I had a bunch of things in my hands because I was getting ready for my trip. So, for the first time probably ever, I forgot to lock my car door. I had my wallet and other things in the car, including my passport and my social security card (I know, I'm an idiot, my fiance had warned me about it). Well, the next morning I got in my car and drove to work, and I couldn't find my work bag. Then I looked for my wallet, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had been robbed. And I live in a good, quiet neighborhood!
So they got my wallet (w/ $200) , my s.s. card, my work bag (who the hell gets off on stealing a teacher's lesson plan book???? and I had just given my kids a huge test, that I had to re-give), my gym bag w/ my sports gear, and other things. Thank Gog they left my passport, or I wouldn't have been able to travel.
Anyways, I had to call all my credit card companies, my bank, and a credit fraud company in order to protect my credit. All because of some freakin' loser prick. Oh yeah, he prob broke into my car at around 2 a.m and by 7 a.m. my credit card co said he had ordered $5 online from Bed Bath and Beyond (obviously just to see if he could). I told me lady, who is a bleeding heart liberal, that we need to do what they do in Singapore, chop these fuckers' hands off if they steal from someone. After having it hit so close to home, even she agreed...
