Found this on DD, thought you guys would enjoy this article. Notre Dame's 2009 recruiting class was ranked #13 by a website called Athlon Sports. This is higher than ESPN (who everyone here HATES but did give us more love than rivals and scout), and much higher than scout and rivals (I think we were #24 or around that in both).
Some points:
*** They give a lot of love to Cierre Wood, calling him the nation's #2 runner, #17 overall prospect.
*** Teo is #3 overall, and the top defensive prospect in the nation. They give him a TON of love. They call him a terror on the blitz, which is right up Tenuta's alley. My bromance grows.
*** Said our class was focused on quality, not quantity, which is what many of us have been saying all along.
*** Commented on our lack of defensive ends as a cause for concern, which has also been argued here by many.
