I'm leaving for South Bend this Wedn morning for a week to get things squared away for my wedding, but unfortunately I won't be able to stay for the damn Spring Game. sigh. I'll be leaving back to L.A. the following Wedn (15th?), so I'll be watching the game and living vicariously through your reports!...

It is indeed general admission but there are reserved seats in the press box which can be bought at a higher price. Though I had been in the stadium before, last year's spring game was the first time I had seen the team in the stadium and it was amazing. Have fun ClausentoFloyd. You'll have a great time!

I'll be there, you might be referring to the yellow seats down by the field. My college teammate's sister works for the bookstore and is trying to get us in those seats for the price of General Admission, if not then it's on to the first come, first serve.

So I'm on a prep period, and I just got a text from my fiance. Her best friend in college at ND was dating Justin Tuck, whom she just married last year. I got to meet JT and hang out a bit with him, and by all accounts he's a GREAT guy. Really down to earth, and this was after he won the Super Bowl. His wife invited us to NY whenever we want (and her friend's boyfriend who already went with them says JT treats you like royalty when you go out with them...finest steak dinner, etc.).

So anyways, the text says that JT and his wife are in town (Los Angeles) tomorrow and Thursday b/c Justin is shooting a Subway commercial, and she's wondering if we want to hang out. I could care less about the steak dinner and all that stuff, I just want to shoot the shit w/ an NFL player! C'mon, the Plaxico Burress stories alone would be worth it!

Of course, I'M GOING TO FREAKING SOUTH BEND TOMORROW! sonof*****! Seriously, I feel like I just got punched in the stomach. I would have been bragging for years. I mean, I was even going to ask Justin to be my best man too! Damn.

Oh, and my car got broken into last night, and the bastards took my wallet and my school bag (wtf???). What a day...

I'm going. We all should meet somewhere on campus before the game to chat or something. Would be kinda cool to meet you guys in person. I'm bringing my friends son. My friend is a huge Michigan fan and so is his kid but he likes Notre Dame too. I'm gonna try to convert him because we could use the kid on our basketball team and football team. The kid just turned 13 and he's damn near 6'1 already and well built. Kid is amazing at everything he plays. So we will be there.

It's an awesome experience going to the Blue and Gold game, I went in 2005 and it was great. Just being in that stadium will give you chills. Enjoy dude. I got 2 tickets for attending the Coaches clinic but I can't make it. Since I just got back it would be hard to make it up there that quick.

Yeah it is awesome. This will be my 12 blue and gold game. I have been to a total of 38 Notre Dame football games (Not all at Notre Dame) and that doesnt include the blue and gold games. I'm so excited for this year. I dont know why but I have a DAMN GOOD feeling about this year. And no I havent smoked today yet.

Game starts at 1:35 pm and haven't heard whether or not if it will be on NBC. I know that ESPN showed Georgia's spring game last saturday.

it's not on TV. you can probably pick up a radio feed on WVFI, the student radio station, it's been on there in the past although the commentary is less then stellar. I'm not sure the web address, but if you go to nd.edu and search, you should find it.

I'm sure und.com will have some highlights up after the game as well.
