Trading BQ doesn't resolve the Browns cap situation, where they're paying dearly for two QBs, with Cutler and Derek Anderson.
Plus, as good as Cutler is, they already have a similar gun slinging QB in Derek Anderson so I don't necessarily buy the argument that Mangini would trade BQ because he wanted another type of QB when he already has that in Anderson.
Now, Anderson's performance last season fell off from his Pro Bowl season two seasons ago. But, when you break it down on film, it wasn't that bad. Anderson lives and dies by the long ball, and Braylon Edwards dropped a lot of those long passes. You bring in Cutler to make similar plays, and Braylon Edwards drops those passes too, then I'm not sure the Browns see signifigant improvement in QB performance.
