Just gonna throw this thought out there, i don't know if anybody else would feel this way but i hate dick rod and i wouldn't put it by him. Anybody else think that LaLota was committed prior to yesterday but DickRod asked him to wait before the ND game to give his committment for an extra boost because this game would be so big? In my eyes, i wouldnt put it past him.

Well i doubt players are really worried about recruiting the next class before the game....i really felt like this kid had potential, but still feel that we have bigger defensive prospects out there that are going to be better than this guy. Bonds, Ikard, and motta are more likely to turn into better football players than taking a chance with a kid with one year of football experience. IMO lalota will be either a really amazing player or a very medicore second teamer his whole career.

we have to expect a let down in recruiting this year guys... we were 3-9 last year... we ARE nd but that doesn't sit as hard with 18-19 year olds as it does with us... we must start showing it on the field soon if we want any chance at another top 10 class...

even so... three top tens and a ten 20 is nothing to moan and groan about... very few teams can hit it out the park every year and the guys we have thus far already make for a very solid class... regardless of what the total sum is ranked by others

i hadn't read any info like that. If Lalota verballed before his announcement Friday, I doubt it would have been more than a few days before. Lalota and his family don't strike me as the silent game player type. i think he just decided he wanted to go to Michigan, let everyone know and announced.
