scout has a article over the confusion with this weekends visit but its an insider article i've heard on iowa boards he comitted to them over the weekend and ive also heard he will be signing with us anyone got the insider wanna inform us if we have to worry

Okay... fuck my life. I just had a thought that freaking chilled me to the core.

What if Watt was in South Bend this weekend to tell Weis in person that he was decommitting? Isn't that what Manti wanted to do as well? I mean... shit. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit. I hate it when I get these thoughts in my head. But... fuck... what if I'm right? WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU FEB 4th?

Sorry... just stressed because I have an entire year's worth of lesson plans due tomorrow at 10:20... and I read way to many of those Iowa blog posts saying that he committed over his visit to Iowa.

Wabash, you're killing me bro! I left my computer yesterday reading on BGI that Watt was still a solid commit, and then I get to a computer 6 hours later and I read your post and I had the same reaction you did...PISSED. Beyond pissed. Went to bed that way, thinking that the class was falling apart. I do NOT want to lose this kid.

But LMI put those rumors to rest (hopefully), and now I feel a wee bit better. I prob would have had the same reaction you did, reading those Iowa boards. But him being in SB has to be a good sign, and he's all Irish...

Man, you know as NSD closes in I just feel like the wheels are going to fall off at any moment. We are slowly slipping down the recruiting rankings and I think 1 more big name decommit might just derail this class.

yes this years class seems to have gone off the track but if it jhelps at all. start looking to next years class. its going to be a monster class. and if you believe as i do that jimmy and co. are going to come out of the gates sprinting this year and really show up alot of people, then theres no worries. keep hope alive !!!

Agreed, So we filled in some gaps this year with a 17 or 18 man class. Just leaves more space for 5th year guys, and 2010 recruits. It's amazing that more recruits haven't wavered, considering all the rumors swirling about Weis' job security.

None the less, this program is LIGHT YEARS ahead of where it was in 2003-2004. We suffered the pain of non recruitment of those years. Now things are truly on the upswing.
It's time to sit back this year and enjoy a 10-2 season and a return to a major bowl. The histronics won't help anything at this point.

We still have some good kids coming in, and a few more we may add. Next year is gonna be awesome, and the recruiting will follow suit.

Everytime i get on these boards i get nervous because of "rumors" that we shouldnt worry about and then the damn "rumors" come true.

Pollard is solid, quit worrying! Oliver isnt even visiting Tennessee, why are people freaking out?!!

The reason people freak out is because charlie has consistently shown the inability to finish when it matters. If watt isnt irish and we dont close out on at least one more commit from somebody, i have one more reason to call for charlies head next year if we dont win big games.

Think about it fellas, lose watt+no more commits and then we actually pretty much have a 13 man class. Not that special teams arent important, but come on. Close strong dammit!
