I gotta go with Phork here. I'm a CW supporter, but what do you want people to do? We played like crap since the 2nd half of the Pitt game. Should we give CW some roses and say job well done? I was positive in the face of all the negativity for much of the year, as many on here were (you weren't here yet Crispy), but a lot of us had enough after the Navy debacle, and esp after the Syracuse game.

All you can say is they kicked the shit out of Hawaii. It is a hell of lot better to watch them ape rape a team than blow leads. I have had a blast. It proves that if Clausen gets protection he can hit open receivers repeatedly. Long accurate passes too. I like it. He was certainly hot tonight. Tate just has that knack for the big play. He has made a few since his arrival. Tonight was just insane for him. He is a gamer, and may have a bronze statue in his future.

Since I was called out, yes I will give the coaching staff credit. For the first time in awhile the team seemed to play at or above their potential. I know you haven't been around here long, but I considered myself a Weis supporter even through last season. The play-calling this season was atrocious at times though, maybe CW needs to stay upstairs! I hope the great win tonight doesn't keep Latina around, we still need an offensive line shakeup. Some of us are just tired of seeing the team underperform, and tonight was a glimpse of what could be. Clausen was amazing. You could even see him not locking onto receivers so much. Run game still kinda weak, but its nice to go into the off-season on this note.

yes, this was one helluva game & i'm so happy that we broke the streak too. i'm happy for the seniors and how they got to finish out their ND careers on a positive note. especially since some of the supposed experts had us losing.

but....and i say but lightly, i'm still not sold on c'dub. we just destroyed a mediocre team and i'm hoping that this game gets us pointed in the right direction, but i'm not ready to put on the rose colored glasses just yet.

i'll still be rooting my ass off when game day comes, but like tko said...i'll still call it like i see it.

Because some people on here seem to be blind followers of the faith. I cheer for this team but I also blast both barrels when its deserved. The simple fact that we lost to Syracuse, AT HOME. Like I said, credit is earned. You can't blame anyone on here with the second half nose dive we took, clearly criticism is warranted.

I also never said we would lose this game. I merely suggested the opposite of what you are saying. Would you have criticized Charlie had the score not been in our favour?
