Could someone explain WHY we fall apart IN EVERY 4TH QUARTER WE PLAY? Is it tactics? guts? Is it fitness? It's pathetic.

I am sick to my stomach. This hurts worse than anything last year! FUCK!!!! Sorry, I usually don't curse on here but this is the worst thing I have felt about this team. I cannot believe I watched us lose to a damn 3-8 team!!!! What the hell?!?

That's Ok Moose you can take it out on me. I can go to work and get shit on by all the USC jerks out here. My fault for posting during a very tough time. I let my inner monolgue come out on the site. There will be many others who will be worse than me.

Those players don't deserve to be standing there for the alma mater. They should be hanging their heads. That was incredible, they don't deserve to wear the jerseys.

CW should call Lou Holtz and ask him how to gracefully refuse to play in a bowl game. If Lou's team didn't deserve it this team sure as fuck doesn't deserve it.

Man......I don't know what Charlie can say to explain this one. Whatever it is.....I'm not hearing it. This was a horrible, horrible loss to a horrible, horrible team. A team that realistically had a chance to finish 8-4 or 9-3, will now finish 6-6. This has been one big disappointment of a season. I feel sorry for the players, because they deserve better than this and the current coaching staff is not giving it to them. I just don't know man......(sigh). This is depressing. Why recruit top classes if you can't bring out the best in them? I haven't been critical of Charlie to this point, but this was the breaking point. Here's another nugget for you......that 3-4 defense ain't worth sh*t.

I think Coach Weis showed class in defeat. I think that this reflects the type of leader we want. He didn't blame the back to back penalties, he just mentioned them and said he wouldn't second guess them.

Good news--we won't have any concern about the fourth quarter next week. We're going to be out of that bad boy about two minutes in.

I don't know what to say.... the wost part about it is that we have more talent... I usually back CW but I don't know what to think anymore. I want him to succeed really bad but I am starting to doubt him...

I feel like I just got kicked in the nuts! This is painful!

I think the jury might be out on Coach Weis now. After a brilliant 2005, I am not sure now. I mean he took complete responsibility for the loss and didn't throw his kids under the bus, nor did he blame the refs.

I think we should look back on this site, this great record of Irish football and for those that defend Coach Weis the most vehemently. They still might be right.

My wife is packing up and going to her sister's house tonight because I don't think she wants to be around me right now. I yelled and cursed so much during the game, one of my dog's is hiding under the bed (which is a big deal because he is a 70lb pit bull and I don't really know how I am going to get him out) and my other dog took a poop by the back door and is in the corner in a puddle of pee quivering. I am pretty sure I shit myself when Grimes got the PI call, I have food spilled down the front of my shirt, and my hand is bleeding from smashing my coffee cup. Every screen in my house is laying in the yard and my neighbor looks like he is going to call the police, so you all might see me on an episode of cops. Can't get much worse. I am with you Doomer, Lets go find some puppies!

I wished it only hurt as bad as getting kicked in the nuts! This has gotten absurd! Why would you send a kid out to try a 53 yard FG when he just missed a 49 yarder? That is just plain stupid!
I think I've figured out where CW got his Superbowl Rings.....The Pats had a HEAD coach who wasn't an absolute moron! And don't even get me started on Clausen....I live in TN and I remember his older brother being a horrible decision maker as well......how many more games will he lose before a change is made?
It truly makes me want to cry to see how far ND has fallen......next year they will be the one team on everyone's schedule that will be a "gimme" win.
And I thought being a Vanderbilt fan hurt.........

AZ_Irish,

I have been positive about ND since I was born. The comments made by ihatepaste don't make any sense and aren't logically formulated. If you want to be positive about the game today, special teams did well when they weren't put in a position to fail. Other than that, no one else on this board can give Charlie credit for anything that has happened in the last 4 games. We have regressed terribly and there is no silver lining. I want Charlie to succeed terribly because I love ND football, but I don't see any way that he is going to do that.

Okay - just to follow up - dogs are fine. Apparently there was a raw hide under the bed for dog #1 and my other dog ate some plants earlier so she has a bad belly. My wife swears she told me about going to her sister's tonight although I forgot completely. So, crisis averted for now. I put a band aid on my hand and put all my screens back up. I am good for now. I still may punch some puppies later, but I think I'll just get drunk now.

Dammit again!

yeah my girl already left and took my daughter to her parents they were supposed to leave in an hour but they left before that..lol....she also warned me how much the plasma cost....

Oh thank God! I'm NOT the only one whose wife hates them right now.....I thought she was going to divorce me last week........Now I think I may wake up in the middle of the night with my throat cut! I'm hoarse from screaming at CW and most especially Clausen.........Can I send the bill for my Xanax prescription to ND care of CW?
