If you mean throwing it deep in general....we do try it. It usually ends up incomplete, intercepted or JC getting flushed out of the pocket and throwing it away.

I agree with the desire to make a play. I just bring it up because it's always dicey to do that and players always get their asses chewed for doing it. Yet 80% of football players still do it.

Obviously a lot of people, outside of ND or Syracuse fans, are not watching this game. If they saw the penalties, turnovers and blocked punts they would realize how pathetic this is. And this brings me back to an earlier post about my delusional enthusiasm early in the season....you need to look at the opponent and how substantive the win really is. This win has no substance of any relevance.
