because he doesn't base his judgements on the current team, he bases them on the university... if ND wins ten games, "Notre Dame sucks, the fans are stupid and their head coach is overrated!!" If ND wins two games, it's the EXACT SAME commentary... the product on the field is regardless to the man... that is why there is so much hate...

exactly... he says ND sucks every year... he got lucky his time finally came last year... this year we are an average team and he has us winning two games with an SEC schedule (which obviously includes two D-2 or cupcakes walkthroughs)......... as bad as the last two weeks were, we have a winning record and have been competitive in every game... saying something like that is flat out unprofessional...

We got in those games because of how the BCS is structured....and we got our asses handed to us in both, proving we didn't belong.

No matter his motives for saying what he does about ND, it doesn't change the fact that what he's said has unfortunately been correct a lot more than it has been wrong for longer than I'd care to remember.

That proved we didn't deserve to win NOT that we didn't belong... the only other choices were Oregon one year and Wisky the next if memory serves... when you did an unbiased team A team B look at the profiles ND won out EASILY...

ND fans, and other fans, do not dislike Mark May because he is Black. For you to insinuate that is just, well, stupid (that word seems to follow your posts). They hate him because of his smugness, and his insistence on hating certain programs no matter how well they do.

As for ND, how in the hell can you say that everything he said about ND the last 4 years was right in retrospect? Have you ever even watched him speak? HE PREDICTS ND TO LOSE PRETTY MUCH EVERY SINGLE GAME! CW's first 2 years, that's all he would do. Lou would predict a win and give his reasons, and then May would counter with a smug, "Loss." And ND would win most of the time, and May would give a ton of excuses of why they won and how they got lucky, etc. etc.

Yeah, lately he's been right. But think about it: Let's say a team loses 6 games. Does it make you smart if you correctly predict those 6 losses when you predict a team to lose EVERY SINGLE WEEK. So you're .500. Big f***ing deal. May was wrong the first 2 years, and now he's been right more than not the last 2 years, esp last year. So he's 50%.

And in your mind, that makes him: always right, and it proves we hate him because he's black.

Next season, after looking like a fuck on nat'l tv, "The Irish could go 6-6 at best, but I wouldn't be surprised if they only win 3 this year." -Mark May... Result: 10-3 season led by mostly the same crew as in 2005, loss of Stovall but with addition of a recovered Rhema McKnight. Another BCS game, career and season records shattered by BQ and The Shark.

I don't know, but I think Mark May is an assclown. Who cares if he is right about us this year, or right about a few things? He fucking should be, it's his damn job. At least we have Lou to make up for the unbalanced bias that used to stink up College Scoreboard. It's not like we're the only victims either, Mark May is very partial, and he just sounds like such a tool. Rece is a great moderator though, which makes for an f'ing awesome show now. As I said in a previous post I dont care if hes right or wrong all the time,its his stupid attitude about it that drives me crazy. He does everything he can to make Lou look dumb and I hate that. Its just not neccessary. You can be for or against a team if you want but you dont have to be an asshole while doing it!
