He has a whole lot of potential. It's not that he can't read a defense; It's that he doesn't even fucking try. He takes the snap, stares at one receiver and throws it to him. He never looks off the defensive backs. Sometimes he doesn't throw it....he just holds onto it and then rolls out and throws it away.

I mentioned that in a post earlier this week. They should maybe try base defense a little more often, let LBs read, and drop back to hook zones. Tonights announcers mentioned how BC's LB underneath coverage is confusing Jimmy.

This has been the most disheartening game this year. It's been worse than the NC or Pitt losses because we haven't done a single thing well on offense. This game has been a throw back to the Davie era.

Right. You need to pick your spot with blitzes; they tend to pretty ineffective when you blitz on every down....teams know it's coming. You and I have figured it out but evidently Tenuta hasn't. There is probably a reason that he's coached in 11 places over his 28 year career.

weis has gotta go. period. potential ND head coaches who watch footage of this game would definitely take the group of athletes ND has over what BC has.
