Why can't we address the elephant on the field?

I am through with this guy. Please explain to me why a guy would go for it on 4th down with a minute left on the 50 when the score is tied? I don't even do that crap in Madden. He is SUCH A BAD DECISION MAKER on game day.

Don't blame the team. Don't blame the FG kicker. Blame a guy who can't beat a team that got scorched by Rutgers last week.

Reminder. We haven't had a quality win in over 2 calendar years. HTFH.

I do not object to that call. Charlie was going for the win.

I agree with the play action pass, but he should have had more receivers in.

The reason we lost is we played 4 OTs and did not score a touchdown

Watch out there eh, neither did pit but they still won. Maybe if our defense wasn't so lost out there on the field, especially Maurice Crum, hes unbelievably terrible.

Really?? When did we have one three years back??? I honestly can not remember the last time ND won a huge statement game.. maybe the Michigan game Ty's last year???

There is a risk/reward ratio in football. This guy doesn't get that. Of course you punt there and play for OT at home. You don't risk handing the ball over at the 50 with time left when they have a great FG kicker. Stupid call. Dumb luck is the only reason the game even went to OT. Dumb luck being that Pitt played a 3rd string scrub QB against us and they still FU^^^^$$&$##^%#^#%ING won.

We'll never have a quality win under charlie, the people who think that we'll win a bowl game if we go to the Gator Bowl are delusional, Miami, Georgia Tech or Florida State will all beat us.

Opening game win against Ga Tech in 2006 was our last quality win IMHO. Not a statement game, but a quality win.

I have been a big supporter of CW and have excused a lot of crap, but I can't defend this BS. He is looking very suspect right now. We should have never lost this game. Notice how Wannie stuck with what was working? Why didn't CW? I feel like Dennis Green, "THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE. WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!!!"

No, here comes the people with half a brain. The people wondering how we can storm out to leads, go conservative and lose these games. MSU was a toss up, but we should have beat UNC and Pitt.

I don't know about haters but maybe disappointed fans letting off some steam. CW gets paid alot for on the job training. I don't want him gone but I'm sure you can agree he can do better. Getting outcoached by Wanstadt is a joke. This was also a home game.

We can still finsih a respectable 8-4 with a bowl win. I have no hope for the SC game. 8-4 going into next year knowing we could have/should have won 2 more games is a confidence booster. Some better athletes will continue to get their chances to play and we will continue to improve and CW will continue to learn on the job.

7-5 is the best this team is capable of and that is sad with the schedule we faced.

we win the Navy and Syracuse games with ease.... so in your mind there is zero shot at beating BC or SC???

Obviously we have ZERO shot at beating USC. Even a total moron like Palin recognizes that. I have no belief that Navy is an easy win. Remeber, they beat us last year. I have no faith that we will beat BC in BC. BC will be so up for that game I fully expect us to lose.

I dont think that you can blame this just on weis and the coaching staff. The players have to be held accountable. I was not really impressed at all by the defense in the second half, especially the third quarter. I mean wtf that late hit on harrison smith, he really was not close to the play at all there was no reason to hit that guy, that gave them 15 yards and they ended up scoring. Also after ND scores to go ahead in the 4th and with 4 min and change left the D lets pitt march right down the field, 30+ yards on one play that lambert or bruton should have had a tackle on. I know some of the problem is with the coaches but to blame this one just on weis is wrong and really not fair.
