Only a turnover will get this game back for the Irish.
This game should have never been put in Walkers hands, the play calling and lack of a killer instinct is what lost this game.
At least nobody is blowing us out like most of our losses in the last 6 years. We just need to know how to put the dagger in another team's chest. CW played not to lose with a PK who has been unreliable.CW didn't deserve to make it to the final OT with that Chicken shit playcalling and leaving it to his PK to keep them in the game over and over. CW didn't even make it easy on our PK. Look at how Pitt set their PK up for every kick. It was like kicking extra points. I think we have a PK for the rest of the season but it will be hard to get up after a deflating defeat. This one should fall on JC and CW bottom line,
Those of you complaining about Weis' playcalling do remember that Weis is not calling plays this year, don't you? And was the play that Clausen missed a wide open Michael Floyd on a terrible play call? There is no ONE "magic bullet" that is going to turn this team around. I guess all of the improvements that we have been discussing over the last few weeks mean nothing, now that we lost a second close game? This was a killer loss, but it's not the end of the world, and the sky is NOT falling.
Can't blame this on walker. he played very well. The offense stalled in OT. End of story.
